Two years ago, we created a communication platform called "The Best of Croatia" for Konzum. The goal of this platform is to support small, medium, and large Croatian producers who work hard every day to ensure that only the best domestic products end up on Konzum's shelves, and thus on our tables. This major project continued in 2021, with a focus on small producers - our "OPGs" - which you can learn more about in the YouTube series "Stories and Tales"!
Now that you know the whole story, all that's left for you to do is to get comfortable because the story of this project is just beginning.
Once upon a time, not so long ago, the ZOO team set out on a magical adventure through Beautiful Croatia. It is a land where chickens walk freely, goats are considered the most dignified animals, also known as ladies, and olives are harvested. Together with Ivan Šarić, we bravely set out on an exploratory adventure, visiting Zagorje and Međimurje, Dalmatia, Istria, Slavonia, and continental Croatia...
We experienced all sorts of anecdotes and gathered interesting information about the production of domestic products, we enjoyed the natural beauties and admired the valuable hands that turn fresh ingredients into the finest delicacies every day. Ivan Šarić fit in perfectly as a “secret ingredient” who perfectly seasoned the content of the entire series with his humor and wit.
Of course… “Stories and Tales” have a happy ending - Ivan has fallen in love! This time he's not in love with a beautiful princess, but with all the products he had the opportunity to try on our joint journey.
