Santa calling

The Call of Santa Claus is a digital activation that became a viral hit in Croatia in its first day after launch. At the beginning of the experience, a parent enters the child's name and area of interest, and then hands the smartphone to the child. At that moment, the magic begins - the child receives a personal message from Santa, and at one point even a video call!

The original goal was to connect with families with children, who are an incredibly important target group for the entire retail category, including Konzum. In the first day after the launch of the campaign, the experience went viral.

In addition to the Croatian market, we successfully adapted the Santa calling for other Fortenova retail brands in Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia. The project won an award at the Kaktus festival in Serbia, and an Effie award for marketing effectiveness in Croatia. Additionally, the project was named the best digital project at the 2022 Days of Communication awards, winning the MIXX Best In Show award.
